Work on Entiat school can go forward now that bond has officially passed

The $6 million dollar bond project to replace the roof, HVAC and windows at Entiat’s combined middle school-high school is officially a go.

The vote by school district residents narrowly passed the 60-percent margin needed for approval. [

That means construction can begin as school lets out for the summer.

Superintendent Miles Caples says the whole project should be complete before the start of the 2020-2021 school year.

All five school district bond measures on the Chelan County ballot passed this year, but Entiat’s was by far the closest.
