CHELAN — The Woodin Avenue Bridge in Chelan will be closed all next week as a contractor on the restoration project Installs a water main.
The closure will begin at 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, and continue through 5 p.m. Friday.
The bridge is being restored and converted to a one-way. Work began in early September.
It remains open to pedestrians and bicyclists who walk their bikes.
The water main work goes from the bridge to Columbia Street on the north and from the bridge to Third Street on the south.
The following week, there will be possible daytime closures as the water main project in completed and tested.
