A pickup pulling a trailer lost a load of wood, which then struck a car this afternoon on Highway 28 on Trinidad Hill.
The occupant of the car suffered minor injuries, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Trooper John Bryant said it’s a timely reminder to secure your load before driving anywhere.
Traffic on Highway 28 was slowed in the area west of Quincy but the highway has not been closed.
