The Wenatchee Wild exploded for 4 goals in the second period and beat West Kelowna in Game 3 of their BCHL playoff series 6-2 last night…

The Warriors scored the only goal in the 1st period at the 6:08 mark when Cavin Tilsley rifled a shot home off a face-off in the Wild end.

But it was all Wenatchee from there as the Wild got goals from PJ Fletcher, Lucas Sowder, Murphy Stratton and Brandon Koch to take a 4-1 lead into the second intermission.

There was supposed to be a boys soccer jamboree with Eastmont, Cascade and Wenatchee right about now in the Apple Bowl…

As you can see, snow has once again covered the surface at Lee Bofto Field at the Apple Bowl. Add in a mostly white soccer ball and you can see the kind of trouble that creates. Plus, there’s no place except piles of snow in the stands for fans to sit upon.
