Wild Knock Off Vees

Wild over Penticton

Wenatchee Wild Down Penticton Vees 4-2

WENATCHEE, WA – The Wenatchee Wild hosted division-leading Penticton last night at the Town Toyota Center and pulled off a 4-2 victory, the Wild’s fourth straight…
It was deep into a scoreless 1st period when Wenatchee lit the lamp first on the 17th goal of the season by Matt Gosiewski. It was the first time since last week in Salmon Arm that the Wild scored 1st.

The second frame saw two, rare, unassisted goals, one by the Vee’s Cassidy Bowes and the other by Wenatchee’s AJ Hodges. Christophe Fillion scored what proved to be the game-winner a minute-23 into the 3rd period on a pretty feed from Brandon Koch.

Let’s go to the highlights with Arch Ecker on the call on the Wenatchee Wild Hockey Network…

Wenatchee gets on the bus today for the long trip to Salmon Arm for a game Friday. Then they’ll be in Vernon Saturday.
A reminder that Pink at the Rink is next Friday with the painting party between 4 and 5:30 on Monday, December 3rd.
