Wild versus Cowichan Valley

Game 1 of the second round playoff series is tonight at the Town Toyota Center with the puck dropping at 7:05. Voice of the Wild Arch Ecker says Wenatchee needs to be prepared for a physical game, and series from the Caps…

Game 2 is also at the Town Toyota Center tomorrow night at 7:05. The series will then shift to Duncan, B.C. and the southern tip of Vancouver Island for Games 3 and 4 Tuesday and Wednesday. If necessary, Game 5 would be in Canada before shifting back to Wenatchee for Games 6 and 7, if necessary.

Wild Game 7 tonight on NCWLIFE

We’d originally scheduled Big 9 soccer tonight on the NCWLIFE Channel. But the snow continues to wreak havoc on area schedules, including the planned game between Eastmont and Sunnyside tonight. That game will be played tomorrow at Lee Bofto Field at the Apple Bowl at 7:30, which you can watch LIVE on the NCWLIFE Channel…

Instead, our broadcast schedule tonight includes Game 7 of the Wild’s first-round playoff series with West Kelowna. This is a game where Wenatchee fell behind by two goals in the first period before Lucas Sowder went nuts, scoring a hat trick in a four-goal second period en route to a 6-3 Wild win. The puck drops at 7 tonight on the NCWLIFE Channel.

Including tonight where the Wenatchee Thunder boys lacrosse team plays its second game of the season Hermiston. Face off is set for 7 o’clock. The Thunder will be on the road tomorrow to take on Juanita at 2pm…

Saturday Soccer Schedule

Soccer takes center stage at Lee Bofto Field at the Apple Bowl tomorrow, beginning bright and early at 8 o’clock. Chelan hosts Kiona-Benton in the first game of the day. Then at 10, it’s Prosser and Cascade. Finally at 7:30, Eastmont will host Sunnyside, which you can watch LIVE on the NCWLIFE Channel with Sebastian Moraga and Matt Wisen on the play-by-play.

Wenatchee’s on the road at Sumner today at 4. Then they’ll play Richland at Auburn High School tomorrow at 11am. Eastmont will also face Richland and Sumner at Auburn at 1:30 and 4. Cashmere will travel to Orting tomorrow to play a double-header with Naches Valley beginning at Noon.

The Wenatchee track team will run tomorrow at Shoreline Stadium against Seattle Academy at 10am.

Prep Tennis Schedule

There is some tennis today, with Wenatchee hosting Eastmont this morning at the WRAC at 9. Entiat travels to Omak at 4 while Chelan hosts Liberty Bell at 4:30. Then tomorrow, Eastmont and Wenatchee play again at 9am. Royal hosts Cashmere at 10. Then at 11, it’s Cascade at Connell while Oroville and Pateros play at Chelan.

Huskies advance to Pac-12 semi’s

Jaylen Nowell scored 24 points, David Crisp added 18 and Washington held off a late charge to beat Southern California 78-75 in the Pac-12 tournament quarterfinals on Thursday…
