Prince George Wins 4-2 in Game 4

WENATCHEE, WA – The Wenatchee Wild will have a chance to win the BCHL Championship on home ice.  This after falling in Game 4 of the Fred Page Memorial Cup 4-to-2 at Prince George last night. Both teams looked exhausted as they played their fourth game in five nights and after a double-overtime contest the night before. Wenatchee moves up in the Big 9 standings behind Eastmont and Davis. By the way, the match between the Wildcats and Pirates was moved to today at 5:30 p.m. today at the Apple Bowl. In other scores yesterday, Cascade downed Okanogan 4-1. Cashmere clobbered Omak 8-nil. And Manson came up short to Brewster 4-1.

Cashmere had no trouble with Chelan 12-1. Manson shut out Soap Lake 8-0. Eastmont got by Davis 6-5. And, West Valley edged Wenatchee 10-7, so now the Panthers are tied with Moses Lake at 8-and-2, while the Rams are 9-and-4. Wenatchee will look to rebound Friday afternoon against West Valley at Rec. Park.

Cashmere crushed Warden 21-zip. Chelan swept a doubleheader from Okanogan 8-6 and 19-1. Eastmont ten-runned Davis 11-1 and the Wenatchee Panthers continued their incredible season by downing West Valley 19-8 and remain unbeaten at 10-0 in Big 9 play.
