Wenatchee Wild down West Kelowna

The game was the Wild’s first Game-7 in franchise history and ousted a feisty Warrior team from the post-season. Wenatchee also got two goals from PJ Fletcher and an empty-netter late from Brian Adams to secure the victory.

Wenatchee will face the Cowichan Valley Capitals in the next round of the BCHL playoffs…

BCHL Playoff 1st Round

The Caps advanced by ousting No. 1 seed Penticton 4-games-to-2. Also advancing to the next round are Vernon, who beat Salmon Arm 4-games-to-1, and Vernon, who knocked Merritt out 4-games-to-1.

It sounds like the first two games of the series will be Friday and Saturday in Wenatchee, but we’ll get confirmation on that today.
