Wenatchee Wild beat Salmon Arm 6-5 at home

WENATCHEE, WA – The Wenatchee Wild got off to a rocky start in its two final home games of the regular season Friday, falling to Salmon Arm 3-1…
The only goal scored for the Wild was by Blake Barger. But a huge crowd on hand for Saturday helped spur the Wild to an incredible 6-5, comeback victory. Wenatchee trailed 4-3 heading into the final period. That’s where we’ll pick it up with Arch Ecker on the call on the Wenatchee Wild Hockey Network…

As Arch mentioned, Wenatchee secured the #3 seed heading into the playoffs, which will mean home-ice advantage when the playoffs start in March. In the meantime, the Wild will finish the regular season at Salmon Arm tomorrow and at Penticton Wednesday, both games starting at 7 o’clock.
