Wenatchee, WA – Children and adults of all ages are invited to the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center for Christmas Family Fun Day on Saturday, Dec. 10, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. This annual event offers a wide variety of craft-making projects for holiday gifts or home decorations.

Among the treats this year are Lego ornaments, courtesy of MAKERSPACE Wenatchee.  Additional crafts include snowman in a jar, beaded snowflakes, magic reindeer dust, wreaths, swags, pasta angels, snowman pins, Christmas magnets, reindeer rope, and several kinds of tree ornaments. Children can even have their pictures taken with Santa Claus, and then create their own picture frames. Not interested in sitting on Santa’s lap? Children can write to him instead at our letter writing station.

“We’ve got some other surprise activities as well,” museum Education Coordinator Selina Danko said. “There’ll be lots of fun projects for people of all ages and skill levels.” Cookies, cocoa and coffee will be available for a small donation.

Admission is $10 per family. The museum is located at 127 S. Mission Street in Wenatchee. For more information visit www.WenatcheeValleyMuseum.org or call (509) 888-6240.
