A Wenatchee motorcyclist was killed late Sunday evening when he crashed his bike in the US 2 Pine Canyon about 5 miles West of Waterville. State Troopers report the body of 44 year old Shannon Herd was found in a ditch near where his motorcycle was found still running off the side of the road. Troopers say it appears the rider was ejected after he lost control of the bike on a curve. It struck a guardrail and came to rest in the westbound ditch.
