Wenatchee High School ranks highest in on-time graduation rate when compared with other schools of similar size in Eastern Washington. Using statistics provided by the state, Wenatchee had a graduation rate of 91.3 percent. Eastmont showed a 83.3 percent on-time graduation rate. When it comes to ninth-graders on track to graduate, Eastmont School District leads the way at 80.3 percent, far outdistancing second-ranked Wenatchee at 73.3 percent.
In compiling the comparisons, the Wenatchee School District noted that Wenatchee High School has the highest percentage of graduates who go on to earn a bachelor’s degree at 35 percent. 24 percent of Eastmont students go on to earn a bachelor’s. Most other schools in the comparison are in the Yakima and Tri-Cities areas.
