Wenatchee wins it 39-24. Also last night, Cascade secured the regular season Caribou Trail League dual meet title with wins over Chelan and Okanogan. The Kodiaks topped the Goats 41-21 and the Bulldogs 52-18 to win the school’s first league title since 1987.

Wenatchee girls bowling team captures district title

The Panthers outpaced the Rams 2,192 pins to 1,575. High scorers for Wenatchee were Kylah Hankins with a 234; Jessica Holbrook with a 214; and Hannah Johnson and Emilee Groth both had 193’s. Wenatchee will host the district tournament Friday morning at 11 at Eastmont Lanes.

Eastmont traveled to Minda Lanes and picked up a 4-0 win over Davis. The Wildcats out-pinned the Pirates 2,021 to 1,701 and were led by a 202 from Samantha Heinz. The defending State Champions are happy to have their alley-mates Wenatchee earn the chance to host Districts on Friday.

Cashmere clobbered Omak 72-28. It was Chelan over Okanogan 52-35. Warden caught Cascade 78-52. Entiat remained atop the Central Washington 1B standings with a 60-to-8 win over Cascade Christian.

Cashmere dropped a game back of Okanogan for first place in the Caribou Trail League with a road loss at Omak 74-64. Meanwhile, Okanogan beat Chelan 75-52, so the Bulldogs to the north are 9-and-1 while the Bulldogs to the south are 8-and-2. Cascade dropped a non-league game to Warden 60-38. Also last night, Entiat topped Cascade Christian 56-39 and it was Manson over Liberty Bell 54-28.
