Weather 3-22-21

The weather front that brought us cooler and cloudy conditions yesterday will slide east today leaving behind clearing skies and a cool airmass in place. Northcentral Washington weather today will be sunny and a bit breezy, out of the northwest 10-20mph, with afternoon highs in the lower to mid-50’s.

On Tuesday, we will see a weak ridge of high pressure slide into Washington with generally lighter winds and more seasonable temperatures with highs tomorrow in the upper 50’s.

An amplified, larger upper level ridge in the eastern Pacific will allow another trough of low pressure to drop down into the region from the north-northwest on Wednesday. Forecast for Wednesday calling for increasing clouds and slightly cooler with a 20% chance for evening showers with afternoon high temperatures in the mid 50’s.

The ridge of high pressure builds Thursday through Sunday with sunny skies and unseasonably warm temperatures with highs Thursday in the upper 50’s. 60 degrees for Friday and even warmer on Saturday and Sunday with high temperatures in the lower to mid-60’s.
