National Weather Service Forecast Discussion for Eastern Washington

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible over the next few days. The main threats with any storms will be locally heavy rainfall but a few stronger storms may produce hail and gusty winds. Temperatures will be warm, with most communities well into the 80s. Drier weather will return over the weekend with potential for breezy winds on Monday.

An area of low pressure over Oregon will sag southward into southern California. High pressure will strengthen ever so slightly over Washington and Northern Idaho, warming the air mass.
