Weather 6-17-20

An upper level trough of low pressure will reside over the west for the next couple of days. Northcentral Washington can expect sunny skies today with a breezy northwest wind 10-15 mph and much warmer afternoon high temperatures into the lower 80’s.

A warming trend will commence through the rest of the work week with sunny skies again on Thursday with less wind and warmer temperatures with afternoon highs tomorrow in the mid to upper 80’s.

For Friday right through early next week, weather models are in general agreement of a flat ridge of high pressure in place through the extended weather period.

A wave of cloudiness moves over us on Saturday with mostly cloudy skies and afternoon high temperatures in the mid 80’s. These waves of clouds will also bring locally breezy conditions to the Wenatchee area, Columbia Basin, Palouse, and West Plains on Sunday and Monday. For Father’s Day Sunday, we will see mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures with highs in the mid 80’s.

Sunny skies and warmer temperatures on tap for Monday and Tuesday as well with afternoon high temperatures in the mid 80’s on Monday and upper 80’s on Tuesday.
