The next Pacific weather system is already knocking on the door, with light rain reported across much of Central and Eastern Washington. The clouds and rain showers will keep temperatures very cool today. But the back edge of the stratiform rain will move through the area around mid-afternoon, allowing a little sunshine in the Columbia Basin and Wenatchee Valley.
For today, Northcentral Washington can expect mostly cloudy skies with an 80% chance of showers mainly this morning with afternoon high temperatures on the cool side into the mid and upper 60’s. Showers will decrease tonight, but they won`t completely shut off as a cold upper low starts to move into the area.
On Tuesday, the low-pressure system will move east but, a few lingering showers could still be around I the morning with clearing afternoon skies with highs in the lower 70’s.
An upper ridge of high pressure builds in on Wednesday bringing mostly sunny skies and warmer afternoon high temperatures into the mid and upper 70’s.
Northcentral Washington weather will be beautiful on both Thursday and Friday as well with mostly sunny skies each day and warmer with highs on Thursday in the lower 80’s and into the mid 80’s on Friday.
Under mostly sunny skies, temperatures will peak over the weekend with highs in the 80s to low 90s for most of the region on Saturday and Sunday.
