Weather 6-14-18

Today, our weather will feature much lighter winds, sunny skies and high temperatures into the mid-70’s. A Pacific low-pressure system will move into Washington on Friday bringing with it a slight chance of showers and maybe even a thunderstorm with highs in the upper 70’s.

An even wetter weather system will bring the potential for moderate rains across most of the state Friday night into Saturday night. We have a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms on Friday and Friday night, a 40% chance of shower on Saturday and a 50% chance of rain Saturday night. It will remain mild with highs on Friday and Saturday in the upper 70’s.

As a large area of high pressure builds in Father’s Day Sunday, we will see drier weather and warmer temperatures with afternoon highs in the mid 80’s. A very warm and dry weather pattern returns by early next week with highs Monday in the upper 80’s warming to the lower 90’s on Tuesday and Wednesday. Our normal high temperature for this time of year is 78 degrees.
