A high-pressure ridge centered over the region this morning shifts east early as the next trough moves onshore intermingling with moisture moving up from the south. As that weak weather system moves away, we will still see mostly cloudy skies today with mostly sunny skies expected on Thursday. We will also see the beginning of a warm-up Thursday with highs in the mid 60’s.
By Thursday night and Friday, a weak and flat ridge of high pressure will build into the region. The resulting southwest-westerly flow will tap into some high level moisture for variable high clouds and just a slight chance for isolated showers on Friday night. As the weak weather system moves through on Saturday, we will also see breezy conditions with just slightly cooler temperatures, back down to the upper 50’s.
But, by Sunday and through at least Tuesday of next week, weak high pressure will build back into the region clearing us out and warming us up to even above normal high temperatures. High temperatures on Sunday will be in the ow 60’s, mid 60’s for Monday and all the way up to 70 degrees for Tuesday.
