The unsettled and cool weather pattern will take a break today bringing the Wenatchee Valley mostly sunny skies, light winds and for the first time in the month of February, our high temperatures will climb above the freezing mark into the mid 30’s.
The next winter storm will arrive on Thursday with a 90% chance of snow beginning around noon and snowing throughout the day with 2-4 inches expected during the afternoon with highs in the lower 30’s. Another 1-3” of snow is possible Thursday night with overnight lows in the lower 20’s.
For Friday, we have a 30% chance of mainly morning snow showers with mostly cloudy skies by afternoon and afternoon highs in the lower to mid-30’s.
Much quieter weather arrives just in time for the weekend with mostly cloudy skies on Saturday with highs in the lower 30’s. Partly cloudy skies and light winds for Sunday with afternoon high temperatures right around 30 degrees.
Clearing skies and cooler temperatures the first part of next week with sunny skies on Monday and high temperatures in the mid 20’s with overnight lows in the mid-teens. On Tuesday we can expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with high temperatures staying only in the mid-20’s.
