Today’s forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies and cool temperatures until a weather system moves in Wednesday night through Thursday night bringing the potential for light snow. We have a 30% chance of snow on Wednesday night which goes up to a 60% chance on Thursday and Thursday night.
Around 1-2 inches of new snow is expected from the storm system in the Wenatchee Valley. Then by Friday, a much stronger system is anticipated, with the potential for heavy mountain snow and a wintry mix of precipitation in the Columbia Basin, Wenatchee Valley and the Palouse.
Our chance for precipitation by the end of the week goes up to 70%. High pressure will arrive by the weekend with a drier and fairly cold weather pattern expected.
