Dry weather will be our dominant pattern today before an upper level trough and cold front currently parked off the coast move inland. Until they arrive, we expect to see thickening and lowering clouds. Under mostly cloudy skies, high temperatures today will cool down into the upper 30’s.
Tonight, a weak wave of moisture moves through our area bringing a 30% chance of rain or snow before midnight.
To start our weekend on Saturday, Partly cloudy skies early in the day with increasing afternoon clouds, highs around 40 degrees. By Saturday night and through most of next week our weather pattern will be very wet. We will see a 70% chance of rain and snow Saturday night as the first in a series of storms move through. This system will linger into Sunday with an 80% chance of mainly rain with highs in the upper 30’s. Expect a break on Monday with mostly cloudy skies, high temperatures will climb into the lower 40’s.
By late Monday night through Tuesday night, another very wet, warm storm system comes our way with a 60% chance of rain Monday night, a 90% chance of rain on Tuesday and an 80% chance of more rain on Tuesday night. High temperature Tuesday in the lower 40’s. More wet, mild weather is expected for Wednesday and Thursday as well with a 50% chance of rain each day with highs in the mid 40’s.
