A break in the active weather pattern is expected today, Friday and Saturday with partly cloudy skies expected today and mostly sunny conditions tomorrow. An upper level high pressure ridge will gradually build over the area during the day today.
As that high pressure arrives, central and southeast Washington could see some breezy southwest winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 25. Lighter winds and an increase in clouds are expected for Saturday before our next round of moisture moves in on Sunday, this time from the north. We have a 60% chance of rain on Sunday night.
Snow levels will range from 2000-3000 feet north to 4000-5000 feet south with the potential for another shot of moderate to heavy snow. We will continue to see bands of moisture move through Northcentral Washington on Monday, Tuesday and into Wednesday night with a 20-30% chance of rain throughout the period.
