Today and into early Thursday, we can expect quiet weather with high temperatures above normal, light winds and mostly sunny skies as a ridge of high pressure remains in place. Thursday afternoon through Friday a weather system breaks down the ridge and will bring moderate snow to the northern mountains and a rain/snow mix for most valley locations including the Wenatchee Valley.
Friday through early next week, a weak ridge of high pressure will build back into the Pacific Northwest, which will bring us near record high temperatures throughout eastern Washington and some breezy conditions. Locations around the Wenatchee Valley could see highs in the lower 50’s through the weekend. At the same time, a weak trough of low pressure will spill over the ridge bringing us a 20% chance of showers on Saturday night and on Super Bowl Sunday.
Early next week our quiet weather will continue with partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 40’s and lower 50’s.
