For the most part, we will see another mild weather day today with mainly cloudy skies, light winds and highs in the upper 30’s. Areas around the Tri-Cities and Palouse will seed down right balmy weather with high temperatures there into the mid and upper 50’s. Later this afternoon a weak weather cold front will slide through the state bringing us a 30% chance of rain late today and tonight.
On Tuesday, a high- pressure ridge will move up from the south protecting us from a strong flow of moisture moving into British Columbia. The ridge will bring us warm and sunny weather conditions through mid-week with high temperatures in the mid to upper 40’s. Thursday and into the weekend, another area of low pressure will move in from the Pacific ushering in a 20-30% chance of rain through Saturday night.
Our precipitation type will remain mainly all rain but the mountains will once again receive several rounds of snow showers Wednesday night through the weekend. By Sunday and into early next week we can expect partly cloudy skies and mild weather with highs in the mid 40’s.
