The repairs on a damaged roadside are continuing, but Highway 20 east of Loup Loup Pass has reopened. Closed since May 28th, the highway is limited to one signal-controlled lane but the lengthy detours travelers had been using are no longer necessary.

A washout caused the extensive damage to the roadside and a contractor spent the past several days excavating a soft fill material beneath the roadway.
