Wenatchee Wild

It was a night highlighted by both goaltenders, with Cal Sandquist and Connor Hopkins playing outstanding in the pipes. Sandquist turned aside 31-of-33 shots while Hopkins was just a touch better for the Warrios, stopping 39-of-40 shots on goal.
Wenatchee jumped out on top for the first time in the series on a nifty goal by Lucas Sowder at the 16:12 mark of the 1st period. It remain 1-zero until 5:24 of the 3rd when Parm Dhaliwal (dolly-wall) finally broke through for West Kelowna.

The two squads would play over half of an overtime period before it would be decided, again by Dhaliwal. Arch Ecker had the call on the Wenatchee Wild Hockey Network with video highlights courtesy of Hockey TV…

Game 5 of the best-of-seven series will be Friday night at 7 o’clock, again at Royal LePage Place. Then Game 6 will be back in Wenatchee at the Town Toyota Center Sunday night at 8 o’clock. The late start time is to allow arena staff to change over from the weekend’s KPQ Home Expo presented by LocalTel. A Game 7, if necessary, would be Monday night at 7.
