WENATCHEE – Three teenage boys face drug charges after Wenatchee police raided a home near the high school where the suspects allegedly sold marijuana.
Police Captain Edgar Reinfeld described the home on Kittitas Street as “a very active” pot dealing location. Captain Reinfeld says the home had been under surveillance and police used an informant to purchase marijuana before a search warrant was issued.
Officers with the Columbia River Drug Task Force seized marijuana, cash, and scales. Reinfeld says it appears the boys had been selling the pot to other teenagers from a bedroom window.
He says the High School Resource officer had received reports during the last school year from students and neighbors who claimed to have knowledge of the illegal activity.
