Veterans Day Parade in Wenatchee

Today's Parade Begins at 10:45 a.m.

(Wenatchee, WA)…The Wenatchee Veterans Day Parade will get underway shortly before 11 today.  Here you see the Wenatchee Fire Department rolling out the old ladder wagon in preparation for today’s parade.  A procession of motorcycles will get things going at 10:20 a.m.  The parade itself will begin at Wells Fargo Bank on North Wenatchee Avenue, then proceed down Chelan Avenue to Memorial Park.  The NCWLIFE Channel TV cameras will be on-hand to record the parade for playback later.

Also, a public ceremony honoring veterans will take place at Pybus Market in Wenatchee at 1 p.m.  The program will include a color guard from VFW Post 3617, a ceremonial tribute, songs and a brief discussion on the history of Veterans Day.
