DOUGLAS COUNTY – Douglas County deputies arrested a 36-year-old Soap Lake man early Sunday morning after he allegedly stabbed two men at the Douglas Creek Camp grounds.  Bobby McCurdy was taken into custody and booked into the Chelan County jail on two counts of 1st degree assault.

Arlington Men Stabbed

The investigation revealed that there was a large party at the camp area and McCurdy reportedly stabbed a 24-year-old Arlington man after he had inappropriately touched McCurdy’s wife. He then cut a second 23-year-old man, also from Arlington, who tried to break up the fight.  The two injured men took a private vehicle to Confluence Hospital in Wenatchee.  The 24-year-old victim was treated and released for a minor stab wound.  The second victim had to have surgery because the blade had penetrated his abdominal wall.
