Two men arrested for string of thefts and car prowls in the Chelan area


Two Grant County men are charged with carrying out a series of thefts and burglaries last month in the Chelan area.

Travis Hintz and Nicholas Anardi of Moses Lake were arrested Sept. 25 during a traffic stop.

The two men are suspected in several thefts and car prowls reported in the two days prior.

Deputies said some of the stolen property was found in their vehicle during the stop.

Hintz and Anardi face charges including burglary, vehicle prowl and possessing stolen property.

Some of the stolen items have been returned to their owners.
