Two Killed In Pateros Area Crash

Two truck drivers were killed today when their vehicles collided on Highway 153 about 8 miles North of Pateros. The Washington State Patrol says it happened around 11:20 AM when the driver of a Northbound box truck veered across the centerline crashing into a Southbound Semi. The two drivers were dead at the scene. A passenger in the box truck was injured and transported to Three Rivers Hospital in Brewster for treatment. The Highway was blocked for several hours until the wreckage was cleared. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
