Two Injured in Monitor Crash

WENATCHEE, WA.– Traffic came to a halt yesterday on US Highway 2 in the Monitor area following a two-vehicle crash that resulted in injuries to both drivers. It happened in the two oclock hour when a motorcycle driven by 63 year old Richard Goodfellow of Manson rearended a pickup truck as the two vehicles were yielding the right of way to an emergency vehicle that was approaching from behind. Both Goodfellow and the driver of the pickup, identified as 66 year old Karen Jackson of Yakima , were transferred to Confluence Health for treatment. The roadway was closed for about an hour afterwards.
