Moses Lake police pursued the vehicle for a short time until Romero Rivera recklessly fled the area. The suspect lost control of the car it went airborne and then slid out of control until it tripped and rolled multiple times.

Romero Rivera was treated for his non-life threatening injuries. His passenger, 22-year old Celena Perez was last reported in critical condition at a Spokane Hospital.

Charges were pending. Rivera has been on the run since December 13th when he fled police during a stop.
