Today’s weather will be cold with mostly sunny skies and afternoon highs in the mid to upper 20s. This morning’s low temperature of 3 degrees in Wenatchee broke the old record of 6 degrees set back in 1960.
Chances for light snow will increase Tuesday into Wednesday with a slow moving low-pressure system. The Wenatchee Valley has a 30% chance of snow during the day tomorrow with afternoon high temperatures near 30 degrees. Tuesday night the chance of snow goes up to 60% with overnight lows near 20. There is still a 60% chance of mainly morning snow showers on Wednesday with highs in the mid-30’s. Total snow accumulation Tuesday through Wednesday will be around 1-2 inches.
Our weather will be a bit warmer for the second half of the week and into the weekend, but temperatures will remain well below average. Thursday we can expect patchy morning fog giving way to partly cloudy skies with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 30’s. The same goes for Friday with partly cloudy skies and high temperatures in the mid 30’s.
Weather for the weekend on Saturday and Sunday calls for patchy freezing fog each morning with partly cloudy skies by afternoon with high temperatures in the mid 30’s and overnight lows in the lower 20’s.
