Today we can expect a strong northwest airflow aloft bringing breezy to windy weather conditions throughout the day and into this evening. The flow is sandwiched between a ridge of high pressure off the coast and an area of low pressure to our east. Expect sunny but breezy weather today with west winds 10-20 mph and afternoon high temperatures in the upper 60’s to near 70 degrees.
By Friday, the pacific high takes over our weather pattern sunny skies and much warmer temperatures with afternoon highs in the mid 70’s.
On Saturday and Sunday, the weather pattern is setting up for a very pleasant weekend. The chilly upper trough responsible for our recent cool weather is forecast to migrate into central Canada. Under mostly sunny skies, afternoon high temperatures on Apple Blossom Grand Parade Saturday will climb into the mid and upper 70’s. Sunday expect sunny skies in the Wenatchee Valley with high temperatures once again into the upper 70’s. Many Northcentral Washington locations have a shot at 80 degrees on Saturday and Sunday including Moses Lake and Othello.
High pressure remains in control of our weather on Monday and into mid-week next week as well with mostly sunny to sunny skies, light wind and afternoon high temperatures remaining well above normal into the upper 70’s to near 80 degrees, overnight lows in the upper 40’s.
