Today is expected to be rather quiet and dry weather day as a westerly flow remains overhead. This pattern undergoes some changes starting tonight as the flow pattern transitions to one that favors a cooler and potentially more active flow with systems dropping down from the west/northwest over the next several days.

Northcentral Washington weather today will be mostly cloudy and much cooler with afternoon high temperatures in the mid-40’s.

The first weak weather system arrives overnight tonight with a 70% chance of snow, possibly mixed with rain. We will start off our weekend on Saturday morning with a 70% chance of mainly morning snow showers with partly cloudy skies by afternoon with highs in the mid-40’s.

Increasing clouds in our Sunday forecast and slightly cooler with high temperatures around 40 degrees. The ingredients are coming together for a widespread light snow event this Sunday night and Monday morning. We can expect a 70% chance of snow overnight Sunday and into Monday morning with highs both days in the upper 30’s to near 40 degrees.

Weather Tuesday through Thursday expect a series of storm systems to impact the region through the workweek.

Northcentral Washington will see mostly cloudy skies on Tuesday and chilly with highs in the mid-30’s.

A very potent weather system moves in Wednesday brining a 70% chance of snow with highs near 40.

Quiet and partly cloudy weather conditions for Thursday with afternoon high temperatures in the upper 30’s.
