Time is running short to vote in today’s primary election

Today is primary election day and if you haven’t already mailed your ballot your options for voting are dwindling.

But, you still can take your ballot to one of several drop boxes in your county, or take it directly to the county elections office.

However, you must do so before 8 tonight to get it counted. And unregistered voters can still register today.

As of Monday, fewer than 30 percent of registered voters in Chelan and Douglas counties had returned their ballots.

Few North Central Washington seats have more than two candidates on the ballot but statewide, there are numerous candidates to pick from.

In addition, the seat held by Eighth District U.S. Rep. Dr. Kim Schrier has several people vying for a spot on the general election ballot.

Drop box locations for Chelan County can be found here, and here for Douglas County.

We’ll have results posted tonight on the NCWLIFE website and coverage tomorrow on Wake-Up Wenatchee Valley and on the Evening News.
