Three earthquakes off Vancouver Island cause no damage or injuries


Three earthquakes hit within an hour off Vancouver Island late Sunday but no injuries or damage were reported.

The quakes ranged between magnitude 6.5 and 6.8, according to the U.S  Geological Survey.

The National Tsunami Warning Center quickly got word out that there was no immediate tsunami threat in British Columbia or Washington posed by the earthquakes.

The first quake struck about 10:40 p.m., with the others following shortly after.
