Grant County Sheriff Tom Jones reports wanted fugitive Diego Cano was arrested early Monday morning after he was found hiding in a home east of Moses Lake.
The Sheriff says the County’s Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team acted on a tip and confirmed that the 42 year old Cano was hiding at a home about 10 miles east of Moses Lake. Cano was arrested after a prolonged standoff with police. He was finally forced out of the home with the use of flash-bang concussion grenades.
Cano is in custody for investigation of armed robbery and unlawful imprisonment stemming from an incident in Warden on March 25. Cano was part of a group of three men who allegedly assaulted and held a man against his will for several hours.
