Sundberg Murder Trial Date Tentatively Set

EPHRATA, WA.-The Columbia Basin Herald reports a tentative October 31st trial date has been set for a man charged in the December 2016 death of a Quincy woman.

40 year old Gustavo Tapia Rodriguez is charged with first-degree murder with aggravating circumstances in the death of Jill Sundberg, whose body was dumped along the roadway near George.

Court documents say Sundberg was kidnapped from the Shady Tree RV Park near Quincy in December 2016 after getting into an argument with Tapia Rodriguez. Two other men charged with Sundberg’s murder have pleaded guilty.
