Law enforcement will be out in force on Interstate 90 this weekend focusing on illegal driving by motorcycle drivers.
Under a program called It’s A Fine Line, the patrols will be from Spokane to Snoqualmie Pass with the Washington State Patrol taking the lead.
Also participating are law enforcement agencies in Kittitas, Grant, Adams, Lincoln and Spokane counties.
The State Patrol said more than half of all motorcycle crashes do not involve another vehicle. And fatal wrecks are far more likely for motorcycle riders.
Though the emphasis patrols, which run Friday through Sunday, will specifically for motorcycles, the State Patrol said they’ll be watching other vehicles for violations, as well.
