The Washington State Patrol North Central Washington Region welcomes eight new Troopers who graduated earlier this month from the Trooper Basic Training Class.

Troopers complete over 1,000 hours of training to join Washington’s premier law enforcement organization.

The Washington State Patrol academy produces approximately three cadet classes every two years which accounts for about 100 to 120 new troopers. On average only about four to six percent of all applicants make the grade to become WSP Troopers.
