YWCA hosts Stand Against Racism today at Wenatchee Valley College


WENATCHEE – In collaboration with the YWCA, the 4th annual Stand Against Racism event was held earlier today at Wenatchee Valley College.

The event featured a host of speakers including WVC President Jim Richardson, Wenatchee Mayor Frank Kuntz and YWCA Executive Director Jenny Pratt, who says the Wenatchee Valley is progressing when it comes to racism but there is still a long way to go.

Mayor Kuntz proclaimed today stand against racism day in Wenatchee. The featured speaker at today’s event was New York University Professor Frank Leon Roberts who gave a presentation on the Black Lives Matter movement.
