South Wenatchee house destroyed in fire

A fire destroyed an unoccupied two-story house on Wenatchee’s south side last night. Crews were called out around 10:30 PM. The older wood-frame structure was located on Marr street. The house and a detached shed were a total loss along with all contents of the building. A neighboring garage was also damaged. The cause is under investigation. Crews from Chelan County Fire District 1 and Douglas County Fire District 2 responded. The fire was put out shortly before 1 am this morning.
