Smoke drifts into Washington State from British Columbia wildfires

METHOW VALLEY- Methow Valley folks are messaging, emailing, texting and Facebooking this morning with concerns about the smoke in the air.  The answer to where’s the fire?

It is to the North in British Columbia where numerous wildfires are burning. The smoky haze is affecting air quality in Okanogan, Ferry and Stevens Counties. According to the Methow Valley Clean Air Project, the air in Mazama this morning measured in the “unhealthy for sensitive groups” range this morning.
