Seahawks qualify for playoffs with 20-15 win in Washington

The Seahawks climbed back into first place in the NFC West Sunday by virtue of its 20-to-15 win over Washington and the Rams 23-20 loss to the Jets.

Seattle had a 20-to-3 lead heading into the 4th quarter before Washington mounted a comeback behind two touchdown drives engineered by Dwayne Haskins. Washington had the ball in the closing moments and drove to the Seahawk 23-yard line before LJ Collier and Carlos Dunlap came up with back-to-back sacks. Haskins threw incomplete on 4th down and Seattle held on for the victory.

Jets upset Rams, Seattle moves into 1st in NFC West

Sam Darnold led the Jets to their first win of the season, upsetting Los Angeles 23-20. Darnold completed 22-of-31 passes for 207-yards and a touchdown. Sam Ficken connected on field goals of 39, 25 and 21-yards to help the Jets improve to 1-and-14. The Rams fell to 9-and-5 and in 2nd behind the Seahawks in the NFC West.

Kyler Murray’s 20-yard touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins with 7-minutes left in the 4th quarter gave Arizona a 33-26 win over Philadelphia. Murray finished with 406-yards passing and three touchdowns as the Cardinals kept their playoff hopes alive.

San Francisco gave up 4-turnovers and fell to the Cowboys 41-33. Andy Dalton threw two touchdown passes and Tony Pollard ran for two others as Dallas stayed alive in the NFC East.
