Russell Wilson found three different receivers on touchdown passes; Sebastian Janikowski connected on two field goals; and the Seahawks defense sacked Derek Carr 6-times and held Oakland to just 79-yards rushing in the victory.

The game was “supposed” to be an Oakland “home” game, but it looked and sounded like a Seahawks home game with all the 12’s present. Coach Pete Carroll was surprised by the support…

Seattle has a bye this Sunday and next plays at Detroit October 28th.

Eastmont Punt Block TD Recovery Downs Grizzlies

Heading back to Friday in prep football, the game featured here on the NCWLIFE Channel was a classic as Eastmont hosted Sunnyside. The Wildcats scored first on a 24-yard field goal by Caelen Massey in the 1st quarter. They made it 10-nothing on Massey’s 56-yard touchdown run.

But back came the Grizzlies as quarterback Derrick Escamilla scored from 17-yards out to cut the lead to 10-7. Following a successful on-side kick, Sunnyside took the lead on Marcus Maldanado’s one yard touchdown run to make it 13-10.

Following Christian Tonga’s fumble recovery at the Grizzly 16-yard line, Eastmont handed to Tonga on a 4-yard touchdown run to give the Wildcats a 17-13 lead.
Escamilla countered with a 49-yard touchdown run to give Sunnyside the lead back at 19-17. But then Carson Everhart hit Massey on a 33-yard touchdown pass to put Eastmont up 24-19. Following an interception, the Wildcats booted a 28-yard field goal to make it 27-19…and that was just THE FIRST HALF!

We’ll pick up the highlights with just over five-minutes left in the 3rd quarter. Eric Granstrom and Grant Olson had the call on the NCWLIFE Channel…
