The 10-year veteran suffered the injury to the middle finger on his throwing hand in Thursday night’s loss to the Rams. Doctors had to repair the torn tendon Friday.

Wilson has set a comeback date of Week-10 versus the Packers or Week-11 versus Arizona. Geno Smith will take over the starting spot in his place, beginning this Sunday night at Pittsburgh.

Jayden de Laura led Washington State to come from behind to beat Oregon State 31-24 in Pullman. De Laura threw for 399-yards and three touchdowns to help the Cougars even their conference record at 2-and-2.

Eric Barriere threw for three touchdowns and Dennis Merritt ran for three more as Eastern Washington demolished Northern Colorado 63-to-17.

Central Washington scored 42-unanswered points over the second and third quarters to beat Western Oregon 45-14.

Cade Littler scored his first goal as a Wild to start the 3rd but Penticton found the net late in the period to force overtime. That’s where Finlay Williams scored 3-minutes into the extra frame to give the Vees a 3-2 victory.

Wenatchee’s off until this Saturday when they travel to Trail to take on the Smoke Eaters.
