U.S. Rep. Kim Schrier will be in the Wenatchee area Saturday with three appearances, including a town hall.
First, she’ll tour the McDougall and Sons fruit facility in Olds Station at 11:15 a.m.
The town hall will be at 4 p.m. at East Wenatchee City Hall, 271 Ninth St. NE.
At 6 p.m. she’ll attend Fiestas Mexicanas at Lincoln Park on Mission Street in Wenatchee.
Schrier, a Democrat, won election to the 8th District seat in 2018. The seat had been held by former Republican Rep. Dave Reichert, who was not seeking re-election.
Schrier faced Republican Dino Rossi in the general election, the most expensive race in Washington history and one of the most expensive in the country that year.
She won with more than 52 percent of the vote. She will seek re-election next year.
